Exodus 15:2
The Lord is my Strength and my Song, and He has become my Salvation;
this is my God, and I will praise Him, my fathers God, and I will
exalt Him.
Psalm 50:23
He who brings an offering of praise and thanksgiving honours and
glorifies Me; and he who orders his way aright, to him I will demonstrate
the salvation of God.
How often do we praise God in our minds? How often
do we praise God in the presence of our loved ones? How often do
we praise God in the presence of acquaintances, or in the presence
of total strangers? Never enough dear reader. We receive so many
blessings from our Lord Jesus Christ, most of which we do not even recognise
as blessings.
Let us try to count some of our blessings that
we take for granted. Are you able to walk, talk, hear, see, feel,
laugh, cry, and experience joy or anything else, which you need
your senses for? How often do we praise our Lord for our senses?
Do you have a job, a home, a car, a wardrobe with
clothes or decent meals to enjoy? Some of you may feel that you
earn all of that. Without God's grace, none of those would have
been possible. His blessings are beyond counting.
Psalm 111:1
Praise The Lord! Hallelujah! I will praise and give thanks to the
Lord with my whole heart in the council of the upright and the congregation.
Why is it that we only appreciate something like
our health after we become ill? Do we ever thank our Lord for the
health we enjoy before something goes wrong with our health? Not
even then we thank our Lord for the good health we had. Let us start
right now to praise our Lord for every little (and big!) blessing
we receive from His generous hand.
Thank You Lord for everything I have and receive
daily! Thank You Lord for the honour to pray to You and thank You
for letting me call You my Father! Praise Your Big and Holy Name!
Hallelujah! Amen!
