In our daily lives we take so many things for granted.
One of the most important facets of having a living faith is to
learn to adopt an attitude of Gratitude. Do we ever take the time
to have a moment of silence in the presence of our Lord Jesus to
thank Him for all we have?
There is a Chinese Proverb that reads:
'We count our miseries carefully, and accept our
blessings without much thought'
The power of gratitude is so great that books have
been written about it. By learning to be grateful and feel and show
the gratitude you tend to draw positive things into your life.
Jim Stephens said: 'Be thankful. Cultivate an "attitude
of gratitude." Thankfulness is much more dependant on attitude
than circumstance. When you feel the lack of what you do not have,
thank God for what you do have!'
